Electrical, Photometric, Colorimetric, Effective Luminous Intensity, Luminous Range Measurements of Marine Aids to Navigation Signal Lights are performed in accordance with IALA recommendations.

Effective Intensity Measurements are evaluated depending of the form and operating mode of the flash using an oscilloscope and a very fast photometric detector to capture the light output.
