Rated lamp life provides important information for predicting the overall economic cost and impact of a lighting system. Spectralux is accredited for testing life of incandescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, and high intensity discharge lamps.

While conducting lamp life tests, lamps are operating in environmental thermal chambers to control and maintain temperature as per IESNA recommendations. Electrical, photometric and colorimetric measurements are performed in accordance to applicable ANSI standards, IESNA approved test methods and ENERGY STAR requirements.
